What We Can Offer

The Gables's facilities include 19 bedrooms, 7 with en-suites, 4 bathrooms, 2 lounges, a dining room, & a spacious garden.​

We offer 24 hour care which means there is always someone here to care for our residents, & we cater to residents with a variety of needs.

  • Call Bell System

  • Hairdressing Salon (at additional cost)

  • Holy Communion upon request

  • Ensuite rooms – all of above plus, toilet and shower.

Fees

Rooms starting from: 

£747 Per Week

Prices vary depending on the type of room. All Food & Drink, Daily Care and Activities are included in the monthly fee, however there is the opportunity for optional extras too to suit the Resident's Lifestyle and Hobbies.

Our Care

After making the move into The Gables, as a family can take comfort in knowing that your loved one will always be safe. Our home is situated in quiet, tucked away location and our staff are readily available to help. The Gables is part of the VIDA healthcare umbrella and supported by the Carole Brown Surgery.

 

We work closely with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, community nurses and other health professionals to build the ideal support structure for our residents, always making our residents feel as at home as possible. Whatever makes our residents feel comfortable, we’ll do our best to accommodate at our home, we support the personal touches of photos and trinkets to make their space feel unique and comforting.

 

Making the decision to move into residential care, means you can relax and enjoy life without the worry and have others to support you with day-to-day activities. We are there to provide that bespoke care that you as an individual need, without the corporate feel.

  • When can I visit my loved one?
    24/7 – we are a home from home so feel free to visit at any time.
  • What stimulation do you offer?
    We pride ourselves in regular in-house activities, weekly hairdressing appointments and monthly live music.
  • How do you keep the families involved?
    Family involvement is always encouraged, we want to know your loved one as well as you do. We regularly update our care plans and hold regular resident meetings so everyone voice is heard.
  • As a resident, can I go out when I want?
    YES, this is encouraged as much as possible. We would love for your family trips and outings to continue as much as possible as well as being involved in our social outings within the community.
  • Are the staffing levels adequate?
    All of our shifts are covered with a variety of skills, and we encourage and support all of our staff to continuously grow and improve their own skills.
